Join us for Supper Club, a monthly thematic meal experience to find what feeds us in our work and life. Each month we explore a different theme (details below) that digs into what it takes to be a human and an entrepreneur*. The entire meal experience, including the food itself, is crafted around the theme.

Space is limited to 10 people for this focused discussion, vegan meal, and specialty coffee experience. Registration is $45 for members (and your +one can get the member rate too) and $55 for non-members. Registration closes Tuesday night (9/12).

Burnout – Signs, Symptoms, and Support

It’s like a Monday, everyday… that feeling of being burnt out and just done. We all know this is real, and possible, and a point that we do not want to reach in our work. How many times do we need to keep telling ourselves “I need a vacation” before we learn a better way to live and work so that when we actually do take a vacation, it’s actually relaxing and not just recovery.

How do you recognize the signs that you’re inching toward burnout? What are some of the symptoms that, if you paid attention to them, might help you to give yourself the care you need to prevent burnout. What are the internal and external sources of support that can really assist you in both recognizing the early signs and symptoms, and facing your burnout with more self compassion?

 

Menu Teaser –

Foods to cool the body and calm the mind as the fire of summer still blazes fiercely. First, settle in for a substantial, yet gentle, sweet potato turmeric miso soup, to help quell inflammation and ease digestion. This is paired with sourdough flatbread*, sweet chutney, and a cooling zucchini mint salad. We’ll close the evening sipping on handcrafted ginger soda, a mindfully sweetened digestive tonic.

Thematic Meal presented by Hayley Booterbaugh

Hayley explores and studies the process of creative expression through somatic bodywork, cooking, writing, and improvisational dance. She experiments in the kitchen at least once a day, continually inspired by failures as much as successes, the alchemy of plant medicine, and local ingredients. She is intrigued by the art of observation, specifically with regard to food, movement, and communication, as a crucial and mystical part of community building and spontaneous healing.
